Q: I am part of a WAGGGS Member Organisation. How do we register?
A: Follow the same procedures at www.world-jotajoti.info/signup as for WOSM and from the dropdown list select the name of your WAGGGS Member Organisation. You will need to register for a profile for scout.org via www.scout.org/register before you can start the signup process. (The JID code issued to you will be based on the relevant WOSM region not the WAGGGS Region.)
Q: What will happen with the information I submit?
A: We automatically publish some of your information at www.world-jotajoti.info/registered-stations so that others can see who is taking part in JOTA-JOTI. The World JOTA-JOTI Team will use your contact information to send you emails concerning JOTA-JOTI (each email contains ‘opt out’ information). We will also share the registration information with National Scout Organisations, National Scout Associations and others to help with the local administration and support of JOTA-JOTI. Information from WAGGGS groups will also be shared with WAGGGS.
Q: I cannot find my country in the signup system. How do I register?
A: The countries listed are based on the National Scout Associations of WOSM and the national Member Organizations of WAGGGS. If your national association is based in a different country, then please select that country and then your national association. The JID allocated to you will be based on the country of your association – if you would prefer a JID for the country in which you are located, then please forward the email you receive with your JID to email@example.com and details of your country – we will then issue a revised JID.
Q: My Scout / Guide Association is not listed within the list of Associations. How do I register?
