This activity invites Scouts to reflect on what democracy means to them personally and how it might develop over time. It also encourages critical thinking about the role of democracy in shaping society.

By reflecting on where we come from, presently, historically, emotionally or even ancestrally, we can open up to our global community, and move closer together in understanding.

Participants will upload a picture, and their reflection, as part of shared community learning.

This activity focuses on how social media can be used as a platform for democratic debate, education and activism. 
The scouts must create a post or video that conveys an important democratic message. The purpose of the activity is to show how social media can influence society and politics.

In addition, the scouts learn to formulate a clear message. But also to understand that different platforms convey messages differently. Difficulty level is easy.

DialoGo! is the game to support youth leaders, peace builders and youth, who want to develop their skills and inspire others to join the dialogue.

The game is played around the world, in schools, on teams, and in learning environments. The game teaches skills in dialogue, teamwork, speaking, and social emotional learning, and is downloadable in multiple languages.
