Anybody can build something neat in Minecraft, but can you take an existing design and turn it into something else? In the spirit of reusing and recycles, we are looking for the best creative re-use of a predefined set of blocks - can you turn a car into a house? A chicken into an airplane? A bridge into a spiral staircase?

Step into the Global Story Corner, a peaceful space where Scouts can discover and share stories, poems, and folktales from around the world. Read, listen, or record your own story at your own pace, and explore how storytelling can build empathy, understanding, and global connection. This calm and reflective activity offers a pause from the rush of the event, with optional prompts and a “write your own story” station to spark creativity and imagination.

Connect with Scouts and Guides around the world through JOTA-JOTI! Exchange your JID with others you meet over the radio or online, and track your global network of connections. Remember — it’s not just about how many people you meet, but the meaningful conversations you share along the way.

Travel the globe without leaving your seat! In this creative challenge, you’ll fold five unique origami creations - one from each of the World Scout Regions. From African elephants to Asian peace cranes, every fold tells a story about Scouting, culture, and our planet. Along the way, you’ll discover fascinating facts and explore how each model links to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Shape Your world and build your favorite scout camp, scout hut, house, or building.

We are collecting this year’s best stories for the following topics:

• A greener world: Your best nature experience in scouts
• Scouting is…: Describe a typical Scouting activity in your country/location that you think in not done in other places in the world.

Books will be approved by moderators and published for the world to read.

Join Scouts from around the world in creating the Wall of Scout Scarves, a global mosaic of color and connection. Upload a photo or digital version of your scarf along with a short story or message about what it means to you. Together, our scarves will form a powerful visual celebration of unity, diversity, and the shared spirit that makes Scouting one big worldwide family.

Explore the rich world of Kandersteg International Scout Centre and the surrounding mountains in the Swiss Alps.

Scout leaders, take your scouts on a nice nature walk, and discover a variety of beautiful Minecraft sights, animals and plants. There are a few different routes to choose from - even under water - and we have activity sheets available to practice nature observation. (Who saw the cow stuck in the tree? There is a single blue flower, can you find it?)

In Minecraft orienteering, just like in the real world, you try to find your way across difficult terrain, all the while following a trail of markers (or candles). In addition to last year’s courses, we are adding a few that require different skills: Reading a real orienteering map, navigating with the sun, and navigation on water.

Roses? Tulips? Lilies? Does orange go with blue? What about some decoration? Scouts can freely design a small flower bed, visible for the world to see. The best designs will be transported to the hub world to be prominently displayed!

Think you can crack the codes? Six sides, six secret messages, six different ways to communicate — from Morse and Binary to Pigpen and Semaphore. Solve each puzzle to reveal the final password and unlock the prize! Work solo or team up with Scouts from around the world in this fast-paced puzzle challenge. The question is, can you break the cube?

Ever wondered what Scouting is like on the other side of the planet? Join us in one of the World Scouting Video Calls and find out! We invite leaders to sign up on behalf of their Scout groups and bring the spirit international Scouting to Scout huts around the globe.

Test your fitness by participating in a race against other players and win a ScoutPass badge if you finish in the top 3 of the race you’re in! Players start by rowing their boat down a river valley, run over a mountain peak and finally swimming across a bay to the finish line. Ready, Set, Go!

Why should we care about the ocean? Because every person on the planet relies on it. We all need water to survive, and all water originates from the ocean. The ocean’s health is critical to the balance and well-being of our planet. Without it, most life on Earth would cease to exist.

These films are an introduction to the Ocean Discovery Day challenges - a set of workshops that enable teams to take on a meaningful challenge in order to become more plastic-intelligent as individuals and as a community.
