Feel free to explore each of the sections below to learn more about the activities, the registration process, and how to make the most of your JOTA-JOTI experience. Who Can Participate in JOTA-JOTI?
Anyone can participate in JOTA-JOTI! Whether you're part of a Scout Group, joining as an individual, or participating with your family, everyone is welcome to be part of this exciting global event.
How do I participate?
You can join JOTA-JOTI from anywhere in the world! Whether you're camping with your Scout Group, participating from home, or even taking part with friends and family, JOTA-JOTI activities are accessible online and offline and through radio.
Online Activities
Join webinars, interactive games, and live shows from your favorite device—computer, tablet, or phone!
Radio Participation
Connect through amateur radio stations and talk to Scouts from different countries.
Offline Fun Activities
You can complete some of the activities outdoors, at camp, or even at home without needing to be online.
Step 1 - Click "Register Now" or "Log in"
Step 2 - You’ll need a scout.org account to proceed.
If you don’t have one, you can easily create one. If you already have an account, just enter your username or email address and password, then click “Login.” You’ll be taken back to the JOTA-JOTI registration process.
Step 3 - There are 3 registration options:
- If want to register yourself, select "I'm 13 years or older".
- If you are a parent or a guardian and want to register one or more children, select "I'm registering a child under 13 year".
- If you only want to register a group, select "I'm a Scout leader - register my group".
Step 4 - Complete the registration steps until the progress bar reaches 100%.
Step 5 - Once your registration is complete, you’ll receive an email confirming your participation and sharing the next steps. You're ready to go!

Find and connect with Scouts in your country or across the globe! Search by name or location to get details about registered Scout groups and how to reach out to them.
Dive into moderated chat rooms to engage with Scouts over shared interests. You can choose between Rocket.Chat and ScoutLink to start the conversation—each platform offers its own unique experience. We encourage you to explore both and find the one that suits your preferences best.
Before you jump in, make sure to follow the JOTA-JOTI Safety Pledge to ensure a respectful, safe, and positive environment for everyone.
Exclusively for Scout groups, this is an opportunity to explore different Scouting cultures through virtual meetings. Share your adventures and learn from other Scouts across the world in a safe and moderated environment, ensuring a secure space for all participants.

There are lots of exciting activities happening during the JOTA-JOTI weekend, and you can plan your weekend to match your interests! The Activity Hub is where you can explore all the different areas and see what activities are available.
Here’s how to organize your JOTA-JOTI weekend:
Step 1 - Visit the Activity Hub to check out different areas and find activities you want to join.
Step 2 - Click on each area of the map to learn more about it and discover what activities are available inside.
Step 3 - When you find an activity you like, simply click “Join event” to sign up.
Step 4 - Once you’ve registered, you’ll receive an email confirming your participation.
Step 5 - To see and manage all the activities you’ve chosen, go to the “My Agenda” section in your profile. This will help you stay organized and make the most of the weekend.
The learning experience at JOTA-JOTI is packed with fun and adventure! One of the best parts? You can earn digital badges by completing various activities throughout the weekend. At each event you attend, you'll receive a unique code that you can enter into the Challenge Valley.
To start collecting badges, head over to My Challenge Valley.
Here’s how it works:
Step 1 - The activities are divided into different categories, each representing a challenge. “My Challenge Valley” is locate under your profile navigation drop down.
Step 2- To complete a challenge, you’ll need to participate in at least five activities from that category and enter the provided codes to unlock the virtual badge.
Step 3 - Once you submit all the codes, you’ll earn a badge in your Challenge Valley.
Step 4 - A link will also appear when you complete the challenge, along with a QR code
Step 5 - Add the badge to your virtual wallet in ScoutPass. The badges you earn will also appear on your JOTA-JOTI participation certificate!
